I am 52 years old and a mom of three great kids. I met my goal a few years ago when I first joined PT but then gained it all back and then some. I don't like how I feel and want my old clothes back so time to do it!
I am a 26 year old female currently working with an economic consulting firm in India.Yippee have attained my goal weight ..maintained it for around 6 months ... Went down from size 12 to size 8... I wear 26, 28 inch jeans now .. though need to cut down fat on face still One fear is that my periods get irregulat ..which makes me very cautious and more at risk of weight gain
36 yr old mother of 4 daughters, working part-time Currently reading The Beck Diet and doing the PT Point of No Return program. Recently finished reading Eat to Live and the Eat for Health books. Beginning a journey of learning to cook mostly oil-free, dairy, gluten, & wheat-free, and nutritarian. I used to think I ate well--lots of veggies, lean meats, and low-fat dairy. Followed (loosely) the South Beach Diet for nearly 8 years with some success but lately the weight was creeping back on. ETL has turned that around and given me tools (mentally & literally) to bring back my health and youth. Hardest thing for me is finding foods my kids will eat too so I'm not making 2 meals every night. My husband has high cholesterol and is overweight--his frustrations and fails to stick to not snacking often lead me to snack right along with him. I'm a night-eater. Hardest habit to kick: chocolate--it's my gate-way drug. I can't just have a bite. I'm exercising more than I have in years and this feels great (intervals on stationary bike w/moving arms, 4 days/week, core strength exercises w/free weights or resistances bands on 2 days, 1 day off). Now I'm starting to see the muscle definition that's there as the fat melts off!
Age 42 and single lady professional living in Austin, Texas.. I need to lose 35 pounds through patience and persistence. There's a lot to enjoy in life and we need to get out there and make it happen. 163.8
