My starting weight on PT was 155 pounds at age 59. I'm now 62, 5'3-1/4", weigh 134.6 pounds, which is up ten pounds from my lowest weight on PT, have gone from a waist size of 37" to 30", and back up to 32", and from size 10 to size 2, and back up to size 4-6, have gone back to school recently, have 5 adult children and 5 grandchildren, none of whom live near me. I'm a volunteer chaplain in a local hospital, an ombudsman in local care facilities, just started a listening ministry to men in the secure housing unit at a super-max state prison 100 miles from my home, am active in a small church so always tons to do there, and am exploring a vocation in ordained ministry, which involves going to a school in Berkeley, CA, 250 miles from home, every three weeks, with tons of homework in between school weekends. I belong to a senior hiking group--we hike about 5-15 miles every Friday. I also belong to a gym where I take yoga three times a week and do weight training twice a week. I also take (almost) daily walks and hop on my spin cycle every day while watching old movies.
Living in Melbourne, Australia. I feel my best when I consume lots of vegetables and greens and when I am under 70kg.
Chucked it all in 2006 and moved to Sweden for love. Had my own decorating boutique for 20 years, then tried Real Estate at the wrong time. Now I am here in Sweden and doing accounting work and life is pretty good.
I'm an active, fit 39 year old woman from the US but now living in Nepal. I like to run, practice yoga and plan future travel. I come from a long line of happy and large people, so I know watching my weight will be a lifelong commitment.
