My name is Julie and I am 53 years old, married, 5'5", have 2 girls (19,21). I work in high technology, work out of my house and travel a lot for work which can make staying on track tough. Tore my meniscus and have not yet had it repaired which limits some of my workout options but I need to stop using that as an excuse.
My Prime 40-something weight was 138 when I was home during the day and kids were at school and I could work out several hours a day...those days are gone!
I am a Lifetime member of Weight Watchers and was able to maintain my weight for the most part for the last decade except for a few exceptional time periods. First was when when I tore my ACL, which limited my exercise options. More recently, I changed jobs which has wreaked havoc on my exercise routine.
Since exercise has been my saving grace, I need to do a better job of managing my eating now that getting in regular workouts is more challenging.
