Profile: Remember those days before children??? Let's lose those pregnancy pounds that have accumulated over the years. We are re-learning better eating habits after many years of being pregnant and nursing and not caring what we eat. We are also motivating each other to get outside and become more active.

39 years old work at home mom of three children. I've lost all the pregnancy weight after both pregnancies with a slimming centre that does food combining sort of diet, but most of the weight I lost came back on. Afterwards I had a gallbladder problem which put me under more pressure about my health. We usually eat healthy and home cooked meals and I do really well with my food, but I have a sweet tooth and can't resist chocolate. So that's my one thing to change to start. The next would be the portion control of carbs. I would like to reduce sweets to one per week. Oh I also had a third baby with 38 and now I find it really difficult to lose it all. He is now 9 months old. I desperately need help from understanding people. I don't seem to find the help around me because all of the people in my close family are quite thin. :)


I am a 39-year-old single mom of a 6-year-old, working part time. This is what I wrote when I first logged into Peertrainer in May 2014: "I find it hard to get serious about this whole process because of everything else that is going on in life. But ignoring the fact of continuously putting on more weight and going out to buy new bigger clothes several times a year has not helped at all so far. ;) So here I go - let´s get started!" Well, now it is May 2015, I dropped that whole thing after a few weeks and after a hefty shock when I weighed myself today I decided to come back. Was severly shocked that I now weigh 8 to 9 kilos more than a year ago. I stopped taking a medication that I thought to cause my weight gain - stopped taking it in the end of 2014. Got a dog last summer so I am out walking the dog very regularly. And now I am here at 180 pounds? :(
