Other Info: We welcome anyone that is sincere about changing old habits.Diet is not a nice word so lets think of something more lasting such as lfe style change. ATTITUDE:MOST OF OUR HAPPINESS OR MISERY DEPENDS ON OUR DISPOSITION AND NOT ON OUR CIRCUMSTANCES.THIS IS MY MOTTO AND I HOPE IT WILL BE YOURS ALSO

Members profiles:
I am 65 years old, married to a wonderful guy for 46 1/2 years. We have 2 children, 4 grandchildren, 1 dog and 1 cat. We like to vacation in Florida when the snow is present in Indiana. We spend our summer months at our lake cottage. Our home is always home for our family when we are here and especially on holidays. My husband and I are both retired. He from fork lift driver and I left all the school kids. I was a paraprofessional.


I guess it's time to do a little updating, although there really isn't much to do update. I am 31 years old now and currently not working and having a hard time finding a job which really makes me feel depressed. Which isn't a good thing when you're trying to lose weight in my opinion.


I just turned 61 in November. I have struggled to stay within my weight range most of my adult life. I try to eat healthy and right portions. But over the past 10 years it has been harder and my weight crept up on me. I lost some weight and got down to my goal a few times but got slack in my way of eating and back up again. I hope this time I can reach my goal and stay there. My husband is dieting with me so that is helpful. I thank God for him. He is a great encourager.


My home is in the red hills of Mississippi. I live in fairly rural location with trails right out my front door. This is heaven to me since I would rather be outside than sitting at my desk working. Being self-employed, I can stagger my schedule to get exercise all day long. This has been the biggest catalyst in my fitness endeavor. Other than work and exercise, I have a wonderful partner that also enjoys the outdoors.
