I am 23 years old, 5'8'', bilingual (French & English) and have a great boyfriend. We live in Toronto (Scarborough). We've been together 3.5 years now, and I have a wonderful, cuddly black cat named Luca. I was an Ancient Studies student at the Uni of Ottawa a few years back. I took some time off to re-evaluate, and now work full time for an insurance company. I am relocating to a city called Waterloo Jan 1st, because of my job. My boyfriend moved ahead of me in Sept, because he got accepted to college for the Woodworking Technician program. Very proud of him! I love reading, writing, painting, travelling, music, singing, and being with friends and family.
Happy and healthy.....thank GOD for that! I really do want to take control of my eating and exercise habits. I enjoy active commenting and logging PeerTrainer groups.
I'm a 23-year-old Canadian medical student. As you can imagine, the importance of eating well, exercising, and maintaining an appropriate BMI and waist circumferance are things constantly reiterated to us. My own health, as well as the desire to be a role-model for my patients, motivates me to continue battling my for my weight and health. In my late teens, I lost 40lbs thanks to diet and exercise, and have kept it off. Nevertheless, I'm still overweight and, particularly with the demanding workload of med school, struggle with finding time to exercise and cook.
http://lettinggoandmakingroom.blogspot.com/ I'm almost 24 years old (Dec 30 is the bday!) =) Recent college grad - working right now doing some science research and plan on applying to graduate school for Fall 2010 entry. I lost some weight using PT tools, coaching, logging, etc before but then let the weight creep back on. I'll be honest - after a while, life made it such that I wanted to stop worrying about logging my food every day. I thought I could do without. But there's something about accountability (and the support of the PT community) that's worth the time and effort I invest in being active here.
