I have recently graduated and am currently working as a supply teacher. I am very interested in fitness but can't seem to stick with anything for very long. I have struggled with my weight since high school but have never been very much over weight. I want to be able to get this weight off so its not something that I think about everyday.
I'm a 23-year-old Canadian medical student. As you can imagine, the importance of eating well, exercising, and maintaining an appropriate BMI and waist circumferance are things constantly reiterated to us. My own health, as well as the desire to be a role-model for my patients, motivates me to continue battling my for my weight and health. In my late teens, I lost 40lbs thanks to diet and exercise, and have kept it off. Nevertheless, I'm still overweight and, particularly with the demanding workload of med school, struggle with finding time to exercise and cook.
I am 40, married, and am a working mom to two beautiful girls - age 6 & 3. We live in Toronto, Canada. My weight gain was from my pregnancies..I kicked it into high gear in Aug 08, and managed to lose about 14.5 lbs by the end of October 08. Now I am maintaining.
I am 40 , and have girls 2 years, and 2 months old. Off work on mat. leave right now, but find it almost easier to exercise when back at work-can stop at the gym/yoga studio on the way home, or walk on my lunch hour. My weight gain has been gradual over the last 15 years, and made worse by baby-making.
