I'm a 23-year-old Canadian medical student. As you can imagine, the importance of eating well, exercising, and maintaining an appropriate BMI and waist circumferance are things constantly reiterated to us. My own health, as well as the desire to be a role-model for my patients, motivates me to continue battling my for my weight and health. In my late teens, I lost 40lbs thanks to diet and exercise, and have kept it off. Nevertheless, I'm still overweight and, particularly with the demanding workload of med school, struggle with finding time to exercise and cook.
I'm 24 and recently moved back to my hometown of Atlanta after spending the last 4 years in Boston working on my undergrad. I'm now working full time as a lab tech and am applying for graduate programs in clinical psychology for fall 2010.
24, have an amazing horse and a mini Dachshund, love to ride, take my dog for long walks, trying to love jogging, like fishing, swimming, concerts, camping, reading, anything outdoors!
I am 23 and in medical school. I lost weight in high school but have been stuck in a 10 lb. range at the very highest end of the normal BMI for my height for the last five years. I want to lose the weight to be healthier, more fit, more confident, and to live the lifestyle that I will someday be prescribing to by patients. Two of my most favorite things to do are biking and reading fiction.
