Goals: To build a community amd mutual support/encouragement as we each work towards our weight-loss and heath goals. Looking for people who will post regularly (daily or near daily).

Profile: This group is for people who like to share with each other regularly along their weight-loss/fitness journey. I am forming it because I've been in so many groups where you are lucky if the people in it post once a week. I am guessing that there are others who, like me, long for a active group and who would like to post on a daily (or near-daily) basis--both to share their victories/struggles, and encourage others. I am hoping that we will build community and genuine friendships along the way to each of us reaching (and maintaining) our weight loss goals.

Stay at home Mum to a 24 month old and a 8 month old - so pretty busy! Trying to slowly shift the post pregnancy weight in a healthy way. I have a history of disc troubles with my back which caused me no end of pain for the last couple of months of my pregnancy - so now keen to get the pressure off my back and to get some core strength happening so that I can protect myself from future worries. Have lost the weight and really need to focus on maintenance - have been slack for a few weeks so need to avoid the yoyo!!


I am 52 years old, a Christian, work in full time ministry, and I have been married for 21 years. We don't have any children, but we do have 3 dogs who are like children to us. My relationship with God is extremely important to me, and it is my highest priority. My dogs are also very important to me and they are a part of my daily exercise regement. Hubby and I take them on nightly hikes, which we consider our "nightly family outting."
