I'm 28, work in front of a computer all day, and am trying to reach my goals weight of 145 lbs. I have been trying to lose weight for the past 5 years and I've usually hovered around the 190s. I was in the 170s in late 2007, but have been in the 180s for all of 2008. I've tried losing weight many times and everytime I start over again I think, "This time it will happen". I get really motivated in the beginning and then 10-15 pounds into it, I lose steam and go back to my old unhealthy ways. My main problem is that I lose focus very easily. One day I can be totally good (eating healthy and exercising) and the next I just eat everything in sight. I know once I form a habit I will have a much easier time sticking to it, so I just need to start forming it already!
I'm 30 years old, newly married, hit 220 for the first time (in a long time). During highschool in my junior year I was in the 170's while in track. I'd love to be back to that weight.
I am a retired music teacher I taught for 35 yrs. and am enjoying retirement immensly. Peertrainer has been a great help and I appreciate all the help I can get. I have been married for 39 yrs. I have been retired for 13 yrs. I have just hit 70 yrs. Don't let the age scare you.
