Goals:
Daily and Weekly Goals as it fits our ADD/ADHD lives. One goal is to try to post as often as possible to stay on track and lose the weight, but there will be NO penalty for not posting if we happen to get distracted. =)

ADHD & Weight Loss! This is a group for people with ADD/ADHD and the need to stay focused long enough to lose the weight and keep it off! Here it is also ok if we set Goals and temporarily get distracted, because we know we are still on track, we just took a short side trip on our way to our Goal and we will pick up right where we left off.

Because we have ADD/ADHD we will try to help keep each other focused and on target so that we can all retrain our minds to keep our focus and LOSE THAT WEIGHT!

Just turned 37 and need to get serious about getting into Shape. Just found out that I have ADHD about 1 1/2 ago and it has actually helped me better understand myself and push myself to stay focused! =) Looking forward to a Great Fall beginning of a Great Winter!
I am 26 years old and I recently married my college sweetheart, Josh. 2008 has been a phenomenal year for me with lots of exciting changes. I started a new job (that I LOVE), got married and my husband and I bought our first home. I feel very blessed and I want to end the year with a BANG and meet my weight loss goals. Since meeting my husband back in college in 2005, I have since gained about 30 lbs. Although he is wonderful and loves me just the way I am, I am really determined to get in shape and lose the weight for good. My weight has fluctuated since high school and has always been an issue. Whenever I lose the weight, I always seem to gain it back when I get most comfortable. I know that I need to be very disciplined in order to lose it and even more disciplined in order to keep it off. AND I know I need to stick with a workout routine. My husband is in law school and I have lots of free time to myself. My goal is to channel that free time into something contructive, like working out...
I love life, my husband and family. I'm a positive person and working on being positive about getting my eating and weight back to a healthy state. Besides being a mama and grandma my career was the military. I served 20 years and loved it. I love Sundays and I love to go to my church. I truly love people. I'm trustworthy and loyal. My kids think I'm funny and a total nerd.
I'm a 24 year old female. I have a boyfriend and a 18 month old daughter. I live in upper bucks county, pa. I work full time. I'm 4'11" and weigh 218 pounds. I have a lot of muscle, but also a lot of fat. I am going to lose most of that fat! I would also like to improve my cardiovascular health by excersizing regularly. I love food, but am trying to eat less and healthier. I've been chubby since I've been about 6 or 7 although I was pretty active. I now realize that it was probably mostly because of my diet and eating habits. I was fed mostly all processed garbage and only drank soda. I was chubby when I got out of high school and then I gained about 30 pounds since. I have never went on a diet, although I have changed some of my eating habits for the better. Now I am here.
