What are your inspiration sources for getting healthy?
I need inspiration right now. I need to hear the stories about people who have made major changes and are sticking with them without suffering. What about you?
Do you know a person who is living this? Do you have a book or a blog you read on a regular basis? I am not interested in weird diets or fast results (like the Biggest Loser)...instead I want stories about real people who are living healthy and well.
Below is a link to a blog I just ran across. Any others out there that you may be aware of?

no, but my personal inspiration is my mother. She just turned 60 and has lost 60 to 70 lbs. the last couple of years. I'm very proud of her. Especially because I thought she was going to die a couple of years ago due to heart problems. I also almost lost her this summer because she had a terrible infection that was shutting down her body. Her weight loss has been slow, but she is so optimistic and her strength keeps me going. She is healthy now and very happy. She is always going, going, going.
Good luck on finding your inspiration. You just have to remember to keep going. Maybe one day you will be someones inspiration too.

simple - being healthy ... for me the choice came easy. I was diagnosed with epilepsy and decided, I need to treat my body better. I only have 1 for life.

I don't know of any blogs or anything but I find I have to keep myself motivated and it isn't always easy.
But finally in the last couple of weeks I am FEELING a change.
I have lost 170+ pounds and yes I could see a difference but I now feel a difference.
I have been doing it sensibly and eating healthy.
You just have to keep at it. That is the key. And if you see something isn't working figure out why and change things around.
For me, I have found that a great part of it is I had to come to a place where I would love myself. Love myself = take care of my body.
Good luck in your journey.

My motivation is one of my friends. When I moved here she and I developed this weirdly competitive (but good) friendship where we try to keep up with one another. We've both been able to keep ourselves to a healthy size and we vacation south together (with our husbands and other friends) every year. Because of our trips, we're always motivating each other to make healthier eating choices to keep those bathing suit bodies! She's a great girl and all I have to do is look at her to be motivated to do well myself. If she can do it, so can I! I know she feels the same way when she's with me so it is a friendship that works well. (It also helps that she is my hubby's high-school sweetheart...)
