valentine's day gifts for men...argh!!

Ladies, do you have the same problem I do? Can never figure out what to give your man as a gift ESPECIALLY on romantic days like Valentine's day?

Anyone have any great suggestions that are less about buying gadgets (or other typical man gifts) and more about being romantic? I'm not totally opposed to buying my fiancee a gift but I don't want it to be impersonal so I would love to give him something that is clever, personal and perhaps not material. Problem is that I'm so NOT creative, so I need a little help. Perhaps others would too...?

Don't they all just want sex?

I am so excited! After some struggling, I just figured out how to make a working animation in Adobe Illustrator. This means I can send an e-card that I designed and drew myself! (Hey, we're not rich, and we are long-distance.)

how about a homemade 3 course meal by candle light? or a day at the spa together? guys love being pampered, whether or not they admit it. another cute idea is give him a little care package at work with clues to know him know what's ahead.

I got my sweetie something that I know he'll really enjoy. He's a gamer so I got him Rockband. I also got him his favorite "guilty pleasure" movie du jour, and a dark chocolate heart made by a local chocolate artisan. I admit I kinda went overboard, but o man I love him and that us what it's all about.

I LOVE the idea for the illustrator ecard, that's fantasic!

We're both graphic designers, so I designed him a pretty nice card and printed it out on nice stock. I also made him a mix cd, of which I designed the cover.

+chocolate peanut butter meltaways (because I don't like having candy in the house and he deserves a treat!)
+fake mustaches (an inside joke)

My wife got me a pair of shoes. I would have settled for Rock Band though! Don't get me wrong, the shoes are nice.

Get a really sexy nighty. Surprise him with it while cooking something he loves. Also, if he likes champagne that might add a nice touch too, with some strawberries.

I got my boyfriend the IronMan watch that has iPod control. Not romantic at all, but something he really wanted!
A few years ago I got a hotel room for two nights at a ski resort and he bought the lift tickets for 2 days. That was a great one.

OP here.

Thanks for all the suggestions. They've really gotten me thinking and have been a big help. Considering my honey is away for work and won't be back until the weekend it will give me a couple more days to decide on what to do.

6:36...If I didn't know better, I could swear you're my fiancee....hmmm! (lol)

Thanks again all! :)

Suggestion

In case you are looking for gift ideas then there is no other option better than going for assignment writing service now. I hope that this would be of a great help and you will add a bit more facts here for those who needed them for the sake of future reference now.
