I know, this is probably a stupid concern.....

Female, 28, 245 pounds, I expect to lose around 100 pounds.

Back in the day, when i was at my ideal weight, I was a C cup. I'm now a bit bigger than a DD.
Because I was always large-chested, I'm assuming that I still will be, even after losing that much weight.

I was just wondering the experiences of other women out there, who've lost alot of weight.......i'd really rather NOT go down to a B cup if I can help :P
But of course i'm afraid of surgery so i won't be going that route. Just curious as to the experiences of other women, similar to me.

When I was 220lbs (5'10) I had almost a D. Now, I'm at 165 and I'm a B.

Don't lose weight too fast!!! That is my advice!!! Anytime you lose a significant amount of weight, you risk sagging skin! And as delicate as breast tissue is, weight loss can take a toll!

Losing weight moderately and maybe using firming creams may help...hope this is helpful.

It varies...ask within your family

My sisters and I swear that when we gain weight, our chests get bigger but when we lose weight, they don't get smaller. Both sisters surgically reduced from DDD and they were/are not fat. They want me to join the club, but I keep telling them that it won't happen while my body is also size DDD. In case it matters, we all gain weight proportionately, not all in one place.

My family is like the poster above. The first place we gain is our chests, and that's the last place we lose. My mom gained a cup size while pregnant, didn't breastfeed, and never lost the additional cup size. If that happens to me, I'm getting them reduced! They're big enough!!!

If you've always been large-chested, even when not overweight, it's probably safe to say that you don't have much to worry about. Good luck!!

I know it may sound vain, but I just dont want to have a small chest...
Even being overweight, its the only thing on me that -I- think is attractive....and i even felt that way when i was thin.

I'm a good example for the OP

I started at 187 and an E cup.

I am now a DD (DDD is an E cup ladies)

I predict that at this rate, I will end up at a C.

Don't want to lose my big boobs either but I'll be happy with a C, if it means the rest of my body looks fantastic. C is still 'big' for most people.

Oh honey, <>!!! I bet if you asked 5 of your girlfriends what your best feature is, physically, they'd all come back with something different that's beautiful. Maybe you have great curls, or your hair is so naturally straight that you don't even own a flat-iron. Your eyes are a beautiful shade of blue/green/brown, or you have super-long eyelashes. Maybe you have perfectly straight teeth, or very white teeth. Maybe you've got great ankles; maybe your toes look great in sandals with a pedicure.

Maybe you're a great singer, or musician, or artist. Maybe you tend the best garden in your neighborhood, or make the best cake, or meanest martini. Maybe you're the only girl you know who can change her own oil, or fix her own computer. Maybe you have the most impressive scrapbook collection.

I don't know... I don't know you at all. But, there are so many things that make all people beautiful. Try making a list of all of the things that you like about yourself. It can start with your great rack! But, I know that's not all there is!! And talk to your friends; they're your biggest fans!

I wish I had that problem of being big chested. I have been a B cup since high school and still am. I only time I got bigger chest was when I was pregnant and lost it all after I stopped breast feeding. I guess it's in my family cause both my older sister's are the same way never have gained anything in the chest only other parts of the body. And I agree with the above poster beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Looks are only skin deep it's what is inside that counts. Have a great weekend.

I have lost 35 pounds in the last 4 months. My bra size 4 months ago was a 38 DD and now I am a 32 DD. I am considering breast reduction surgery but I am waiting to lose the last 20 pounds I need to and see if I still do not lose a cup size.

You might be surprised what happens to your chest as you lose weight. If you are normally well endowed (even thinking about when you were younger) you most likely don't have anything to worry about.

I weighed about 150lb. over a year ago (5'5") and my chest was rather large -> a very large D. I lost 20lbs. and my biggest concern was just LOSING my breast size. It is definitely something that you get attached to once you have it.

Now that I weigh about 130lb. I dropped down to a C cup but I will take that over being 20 pounds heavier just for 1 cup.

If you are aiming to lost 100lbs. don't think it will all just come straight from your chest.

Wierd - when I gained I went from a B to a C and I hope to go back down. Am I the only one who despises these sacs of fat & tissue hanging from my chest? All they seem to do is bounce around and get in the way - I hate my bigger chest! Plus they were more sesative when they were smaller.

I guess that just illustrates that we all view the world differently...

I lost a little

I used to weigh 123 at 5'3 and I was a D cup. I lost 10 lbs and now I am back to a size C. I went on birth control and my boobs grew A LOT, you could try that. :)

nope, I hated having bigger boobs too! I think they made me look fatter in pictures and my shirts with buttons would pucker. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want an A. But when I gained weight, I was a size D. I am only 5'3 and when I was at my heaviest I was a size 7. D is not fun. I like my Cs though.

At my heaviest of 220 I was a B cup (I know thats small) now at 160 and a child I am still a B cup but probably a large B. I think it really depends on the person and where you carry your weight. If your bust got really big then chances are it will get smaller again. I would not worry about that though, you won't be able to do anything about it unless you decide to hold onto the fat in sake of losing your boobs. But I wouldn't worry about that, you should continue your weight loss so you can be healthier.

I lost over 30 pounds and a cup size in the past six months (C to B). I kind of like it, too! It fits a nice muscular build.

I also am concerned about this. I have implants. I am a large C small D and 140lbs. I am looking to lose weight but not cup size. I wonder if it works the same with implants? I paid good money for them, I would really hate to lose them with the weight.

Since implants are actually something foreign in your body, I'd imagine that there's nothing you can do to reduce them other than removing them! It probably depends on how much is boob and how much is implant... If you went from an A to a C/D, then I'd say you'll always be a C/D, but, if you were a C, and got a little boost up to a C/D, then, there's more of "you" to lose.
