This is Michelle from the Spotlight...need your opinions...

Hi ladies & gents!

I'm in the spotlight under "michelle", and just wanted to know what you enjoy about reading our logs. Is there anything missing that you wish we would write down? Is there anything we can add to make it better?

I love the idea that we can have a spotlight to shine some light on how different people are losing weight and/or becoming healthier. Is there something in our logs that has helped you, motivated you? Or is there something that gets your goat....something you want to vent about?

Thanks for your comments! :-)

I haven't the faintest idea what Spotlight is. Sorry.

Oh okay, now I see it. Seems like it is Florida groups, and I don't usually go and read other groups logs, just my own.

uhhh no. spotlight is part of the "lounge" on PT. Just another feature. It is a place for users to showcase their logs.

i think the people in the spotlight need to actually post every day. there are some people who have gone weeks without a word. why are they there?

to answer your question in an on-topic, constructive way.

I find that the most interesting logs are the ones with the most information. And I am not talk about a looooonnnngggg goals section or anything like that. But information about how you are feeling when you ate something, why did you eat it, was it planned, a slip up, why you slipped up. how you resisted something, how did you feel. That sort of stuff.

You know what would help motivate me Michelle? If you actually lost some weight. The saddest thing about Peertrainer are all the people who actually log every single day for a months and months and months without any weight loss. Talk about a motivation killer. It makes me think I'm in the wrong place.

It always makes me laugh when I see situations like this. Someone is positive and signs her name to her posting. Then someone responds with something snarky but DOESN'T sign her name. What a coward.

Michelle, thanks for posting this. I tend to forget about the spotlight but I'll start checking it out. Keep going, Girl!

Michelle, I read your log today. What a GREAT gift you're making for your Mom! You sound like a conscientious, loving daughter. Good for you!

I never really checked it out b/f but will look now so as far as feed back, maybe it is good you used the lounge area to get all of our attention. Good luck,

OP here -

To the 2:18 PM poster - I can understand your comment. You're right, I haven't been as proactive as I can be. HOWEVER - I am here to make it right. I am here to bring upon change, and get the train rolling... get my health back on track. And I genuinely just wanted to know how the spotlight was working for those that read it - to see if it was a useful tool or not. Peertrainer is not only for weight loss, but for support, self-realization, illumination... so I am glad that I am here, and happy for my team members in the spotlight.

Thanks! :-)
