Fat knees... what do I do?

I've been working out a lot lately and really firming up my legs. I'm currently 5'4 and 120lbs so I am pretty happy with my weight, but I HATE how my knees look! I don't know if this is very common, but my quads are very muscular but I don't have the skinny knobby knees like most people. Which for some reason make their legs look much skinnier.

Does anybody know any exercises to target the bottom of the quads where it hits your knees? Any suggestions would be great!

the more you work those muscles the bulkier they will look.
It could be worse...I have chronic inflamation of my left knee and it also doesnt straighten all the way. I look like a weirdo in shorts or short skirts with one normal knee and one puffy, kinda sideways, bent knee.

I actually have the same problem, so I know how you feel. I've talked this over with my own trainer and even a plastic surgeon and the only way to "shrink" the area is to have localised liposuction in the area. There are no exercises that will "shrink" the knees. Lipo in the knees however is supposed to be the most painful. I opted to just feel blessed that I had strong knees to carry me through life! Good luck.
