Help!!!

I've been on Jenny Craig for almost 4 weeks now and I've only lost 5.2lbs. during that time I've had my period (just getting over it) but still see no weight loss. I stick to the diet as close as I can but when I do go astray I make up for it by working out my ass off.

Any body have a clue as to what I'm doing wrong?

5.2 lbs in 4 weeks is good! Just keep doing what you are doing.

Agree with the pp - just keep at it and the downward trend will continue!

Other than that - when you do go astray, just be realistic about it (we tend to underestimate.) It's not obviously not bringing your weightloss to a screeching halt, but depending upon the frequency it could be slowing you down just a wee bit.

Keep it up!

The first 5 pounds is not nearly as noticable as the second - hang in there!

Try sticking to it all the way. You only get what you put in.
5 pounds in a month is not bad. In a year, that's 60 pounds which is pretty awesome.

Yeah, hang in there. You are doing great losing 5 pounds. Celebrate that and continue. I'd recommend just taking it 5 pounds at a time. First milestone....good going!!

OP here,

thanks so much for the encouragement...I figure if I give JC 2 more weeks that's enough. Still haven't broke through to more pound lossage. Oh well...

I'm not sure it's a good idea to give JC only 2 more weeks, or to put that kind of pressure on yourself. Everybody's body is different- that's not just a cliche! IF you lost 5 already, that's wonderful. Some people may go another month with no change and then see a big drop in the 3rd month! I guess if you are going to leave JC make sure you already have an alternative plan. Whatever you do, don't give up on your goals!
Big cyber hug! :o)

Seriously, keep up the work and you will see results. Weight loss doesn't happen overnight. What other kind of loss were you expecting? The MOST you should lose is 2 pounds a week. You are right on track!
