OT - Dark undereye circles.

Is there really anything one could do about dark undereye circles? Mine are pretty bad and seem to be relentless. I look like a zombie, no matter how much sleep I get!

that can be a sign of anemia - low iron. are you a vegetarian by any chance?

Also my younger brother, who smokes in "secret" LOL, gets VERY dark circles under his eyes the more he smokes. I always know if he's been smoking a lot lately b/c his under-eye cirles get SO dark.

I would go in to the Dr. and get your iron levels checked.

Hm, I'm not a vegetarian, but that's very possible. I'll head over to the doctor when I get a chance. Thanks for your help. :]

I have also heard that allergies cause darkness under the eyes.

My allergies probably aren't helping then!

My aunt had really dark circles under her eyes for 47 years (her whole life). Then, she found out that she had celiac's disease (where you are allergic to wheat gluten). She stopped eating wheat and stated to have a rose colored glow! She looks 10-15 years younger!

Eating wheat had made her anemic...

Good luck, OP. Do some research and talk to your doctor.
