I need to share something positive!
I've been on PT for more than a year and a half. I've been striving and striving for what I consider perfection. I've lost over 20 lbs., and have successfully adopted a healthy lifestyle.
This morning, I woke up, went to the bathroom, took all my clothes off, looked in my full-length mirror and realized I'm absolutely gorgeous! I was wondering if/when that was ever going to happen! And, this morning, it finally did. I feel amazing! I just wanted to share this with all my fellow PTers!

That makes me so happy! We all struggle with that image in the mirror and more often than not, it's the image in our minds that we see reflected in the mirror, not our actual reality. I'm so happy for you that you feel so amazing about yourself and can embrace yourself the way the rest of your friends and family do!
I envy you a little, as I'm sure many of us on here do, but that's only because we want to get to the same place. So keep sharing please! It helps us not feel so alone in this journey.

What a fantastic feeling for you. I occassionally feel the same but generally notice little flaws. My goal is to start telling myself that those little 'flaws' are what make me unique and whos to say what perfection is anyway???

FREAKING AWESOME!!!! I can share that I bought a dress at a normal sized store last month. Although I have another 50lbs to go, it really felt amazing to shop in a regular size store.
49 to go!

What a joy to share in your success. I had what I would call a glimpse of this yesterday and then lost it today. By sharing you brought back the clarity of my own moment, so thank you. It is such a beautiful feeling that I wonder if we can live that way everyday? Is the memory of one moment strong enough to grow into a lifestye?
