Don't discourage.

If your methods of losing weight are clearly working, why would someone try to tell you "you shouldn't do that because ______, do this instead." I have been doing these things for a while and I do them because they work and they're going to take me to where I want to be.

I'm not dipping to a dangerously low calorie-count. I eat, I exercise, I'm not putting my body through any harm. So why try to tell to convince me otherwise when I'm the one losing weight and they aren't?

I was just going to add to my post :)

Incorporating slim fast into a 1200 - 1400cal. per day diet and sticking to some reliable foods. Isnt that what slim fast is for?

Nothing crazy, I promise

I like slimfast bars and have one for breakfast now and again. Sometimes it is just too sweet for breakfast.

I like the way my dr put it to me,
What ever you are doing is working, keep it up.

If you are doing this in a healthy way then I can't see why it is a problem.
Realize people are people and they will give advise. Doesn't mean you have to take it.

I agree...just keep in mind that slim-fast contains an ingredient that acts as a diuretic/laxative. So don't over do it or you might end up glued to the toilet! Keep up the good work!

Do what works for you.

I'd have a back-up plan for the long haul. I don't think slim fast is all that healthy for you when it comes down to it.

I'd also would incorporate real food in there on some days though...just when I got to my goal weight...wean yourself off when you get there.

You can't live on Slimfast forever!
