I'm a former sales rep. Any good career ideas?

Sales wears me out with all the cold calling. Any good recommendations for careers I could go into?

I did sales for 2 years and loved my coworkers, but hated cold-calling. I decided to completely switch careers go back to school for nursing. Moving from making great money in sales to being a broke student again is no fun but I finally feel like I am doing what I am supposed to be doing with my life.

I agree...I was an Account Manager for a Fortune 500 company for 3 years. Loved my customers and colleagues, hated the corporate bull-crap and bean counting. I swear, if I hear the phrase "sales initiative" I might jump off a bridge! So I am on my way back to school for my MBA to gain some more knowledge, qualifications, make some new contacts, and take my career in a new direction. I'm thinking consulting or non-profit.

The problem with sales is that it is hard to get out of that role unless you move within the company. New companies will only want you for your sales skills...
