I am just not getting enough fiber. So I bought some fiber pills the other day then voila!!! I dropped 2 lbs. almost instantly...I'm not complaining but can anybody tell me why that is?

my boyfriend loves fiber pills. he isnt worried about losing weight - he just likes they way they keep him SUPER regular. He takes 15 a day.

I've always taken fibre suppliments for the benefits for my digestive system. I recently started taking a new natural fibre called PGX that is specifically for weight loss. Taken with a meal, you feel full faster and a LOT longer. I have used them to curb the nibblies at night even.

Fiber expands in your stomach when combined with water, making you feel full. Your body can't digest fiber, and so that's why it regulates your digestive system... it gives it extra material to work with. It also cleans out your colon on the way (pleasant to think about, right?) So it's probably a combination of feeling fuller and cleaning out your system.

I eat a lot of fibre daily, plus taking supplements and drink coffee(a natural laxitive) but lately...i dont know if this is too much information...i've been "going" um less....I havent reall changed my diet, I eat lots of fruit and veggies, drink lots of water and excersise regularly (5-6 times a week) sooo what gives?

11:16 - yup and get this...that is the recommended dosage on the bottle! I think it is a scam and 5 will do you the same as 15 but then you have to buy more...
I can never complain about being "stopped up" because he will tell me "here take 10 fiber pills" haha. it just sounds rediculous!
