What's the "TEAM" etiquette.on whispering

I've been in groups of 4 and we openly talk to each other in the "COMMENTS" field about what we're eating, etc.
I joined a "TEAM" and it seems like everyone keeps whispering to me instead of just talking in the group. Is there a different "team" etiquette.

I think it's nice because if there is a comment/topic that is very specific to just you, then everyone else doesn't have to read it. It keeps the comments section a little tidier.

Are the 'whispers' about other team members or comments made by others? That's the only scenario I can imagine that would seem 'objectionable.' Hmmm...what are these side comments about?

Maybe it's because there are more people and they don't want everyone to see it? Instead of whispering back, send a comment to the whole team. Usually whispered comments would help the whole team, even when it's specific advice.
