peertrainer was built on this concept, not news to us either. We took the extra step of combining the diary with the group. People seem to find it helpful!

Despite being 'old news' it's still helpful to remind people of how beneficial it is.

Most of this information is bound to be some form of rehash HOWEVER, I think this kind of link is useful. It's a reminder to hang in there and keep doing it. Wash Post is a well written resource.
I am convinced that keeping food diaries keeps us conscious about what we are eating. That's why it works so well.
