Costco food find of the day

anyone like Edamame?
I just found some at Costco of all places! a large bag of frozen edamame, I think it was like 5, or 8 bucks! Only 100 cal per serving, and 12 servings in a bag!
I LOVE the stuff!!

Costco has great prices on nice stuff. They have a small inventory and have a lot of different stuff for sale each week. The quality is very good. And I read somewhere that they are the largest wine seller in the US. Best of all, they pay their employees real well.

edamame is something I first discovered in Japanese restaurants... it's steamed soy beans, in the pod. They usually serve them warm, and salted. You just pop the beans out of the pod, into your mouth... YUMMY!
you don't eat the pods.

wow, thanks for the tip. I never go over to the freezer section for fear I'll come home with 800 eclairs. :)

I love edamame, but like most stuff at costco I find that unless you have a large family or are planning to eat it really fast most things go to waste from either freezer burn or age. I do buy other thing though.
