I like both Shape and Self as well. But, Women's Health is great and so is Fitness Magazine. Check them out!

My favorite fitness magazine is Oxygen. It costs a little more than shape or self but it has alot more articles related to eating healthy and creative workouts and less focus on makeup, fashion, etc...

A book that I love is The Courage to Start. It's about a guy starting to run but the message is great for anyone needing motivation. It's an easy read.

Another fan of Fitness here for the exact same reasons the poster above me noted. It's the only exercise magazine I've ever gotten a subscription to. I'm not crazy about Shape or self, but they're ok - they're in the "I would read them in a waiting room if they were laying around, but wouldn't pay money for them" category IMO.

By the way - did you see that Peertrainer was mentioned in the March issue of "Fitness"? It's on page 19. Cool!

Hi Artgirl87,

Thank you for responding to my note, I appreciate your support! I have read them all & find Fitness to have a more diverse format. It includes not just fitness, healthy eating, and easy delicious recipes, but useful info. Such as it did in the March issue, which introduced me to peertrainer, which I think will be a valuable resource in my reaching my fitness goals.

Good Luck!
Katia
