FitTV anyone?

Does anyone else watch the fitness channel? I think I'm becoming addicted to it. I love Gilad and Cathy Friedrich....she's a beast at lifting weights. It's one of my goals to complete a full hour w/Cathy.

I was so disappointed when my cable provider removed that channel. I was a fan of Cathe Friedrich (except when she used barbells, because I don't keep a full gym in my living room!) and the Caribbean Workout.

I live the Caribbean Workout too. I have just started the All-Star workouts too. I have tried the Ballet, Belly Dancing, and Party Dance. Since I'm a beginner (just started with PT 3 weeks ago) I am really awkward with it all. It's actually quite comical, but it is fun (funny).

Check it out sometime. It's definitely different. Not sure if I will keep up with it regularly or just tune in when I can't face doing my regular morning routine...either way, I will still work out with it at times.

I used to love working out w/ Cathe until they removed her from our lineup of cable stations. She is tough and great. I am now looking into purchasing one of her tapes.

I just discovered it. I also found that On Demand has several work outs. I think it could be a great way to add to my work out routine. it's also re-kindled my interest in yoga. Used to practice yoga a lot, but then let life take over and got out of the habit. now I'd like to pick it up again.

It was great the other day when I couldn't get to the gym b/c of the snow!

Another fit tv fan

I remember Fit TV in its' original format, where it offered an uninterrupted 20 min workout every hour, with some great instructors like Gin Miller and Tamilee Webb. I hate the constant repeat commercials during workouts, but I love Cathe, and after a month of following her strength workouts I can get through a whole session (and now curse the commercial breaks where I once welcomed them). I also love that she includes real women with real body types in her workouts.
