Success Stories

I love reading success stories in fitness magazines! I hate all the beauty and fashion ads though. Anyway, I would love to see someone do an entire book or magazine focusing just on success stories because I turn to them often as motivation. With that put, I'd love to get some stories/input/ideas from PT members to keep my motivation going. Thanks!!!

Started seriously on 1/6/06
Your beginning weight 182.8
Current Weight 164.4 - Met my first 10% goal - 18 lbs. in about 9 weeks

Weight Goal ??? I tend to weigh more than I look because I'm a ballerina and all the muscle - I'd like to be a comfortable size 4P?? (that's what another dancer is that dances with me and is my height and she looks healthy and is strong)

Exercise Routine Body For Life: 3 45 min. weight training sessions and 3 20 min. HIIT cardios on stationary bike - I also try to add in hour pilates at least 3 times a week and I have my 2 hour dance lesson (toe dancing) once a week

Normal Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and a favorite healthy snack
my meals are preapred for me www.meals21.com
(Avg per day: 56% carb, 22% protein, and 22% fat - 1200 calories)

Biggest Challenge - Sticking to it and avoiding temptations

Ultimate Goal
I want to dance my ballet routines on toe better than I did when I was 18! I was tiny when I was 18 but had knee problems. I have now fixed the knee problems (amazingly since you'd think the knees would hurt from this extra weight) and so if I get tiny again my ultimate goal is VERY doable!!

I'd also like to wear a bikini with pride! I wasn't allowed to wear a bikini as a kid when I had the figure for it.

Blozzom :-)

One thing-- I wish PT would rotate photos and stories in the success stories section.. I think the same girl has been on the site since I started in December!

I just got the same reaction when I started reading your comment, and when I got to your name, I thought...well, that doesn't surprise me. Thanks for being such an inspiration for me so many times over!
