After looking at the nutrition label, looks like you're gonna have to watch out for the sodium. While it is 80 calories per serving (in a packet), 11% of calories come from fat, while 70% comes from carbs. It may not be as healthy as you may think, but it'll probably be a nice addition to your meals once in a while.

I agree with the PP. Soups taste great, but the sodium can add up if you eat them everyday.

Also, beware of soups that are labeled "Low Sodium." If you take a look at the Progresso low sodium soups they have the same amount of sodium as most regular soups. That label doesn't necessarily mean you are eating a "low sodium" product. Just like how "reduced fat" foods can still have tons of fat in them.

Personally I'm a tomato soup junkie - but I throw in a couple of handfuls of veggies to make it more nutritionally balanced.

No Sodium Boullion Cubes

I heat up a cup of water with no sodium boullion cube and throw in veggies. I then add black pepper and a few red pepper flakes to give it big flavor.. yeah probably not as tasty without all that salt, but a great alternative

When we placed the order, we had a baby coming and were expecting a lot of sleepless hours. What better to recharge with than good old fashion chicken soup? Well, now baby just got here and if the first couple of nights is any indication, we will spend a lot of sleepless nights feeding and calming the baby and recharging ourselves with this delicious soup. testking 70-553 One package isn't enough, but two packages and some rice makes a really good filling meal. And it's as easy as boiling water. and Lipton still makes the best instant soup you can buy anywhere. Unfortunately a lot of local grocers including Wal Mart no longer stock this great soup in their aisles. I'm just glad I can still order this product testking 70-350 that is currently being manufactured in Canada from Amazon.com. Please keep listing this product as long as Unilever keeps it on the market. I've enjoyed this product for well of 20 years and hopefully for many more years to come. testking E20-040 I usually make a double batch since I like soup so much and it is good for the human body. I also add about a dozen or so Ritz crackers to drink up the excess broth.
