Weekend shutdown?!

Why does everyone in my group seem to shutdown for the weekend? Noone logs or comments and then on Monday everyone complains they ate too much on the weekends.. not that I don't also go a bit over on Sat and Sun, but coming on here does help stop me from going overboard.

I miss my group mates on weekends and the support they offer.. does anyone else have this problem??

my best advice is join a few teams.. groups tend to get quieter on weekends and some groups .. not all because I have some great groups, but some groups comment less.. but than I have so many groups and teams and I stay pretty active with most of them. come join me .. just look up my username. I am everywhere lol

I had to ask my group mates to make an effort to post on weekends. We all got a little complacent, and then it kinda fueled itself (I think we were all operating under the mentality of "if they aren't posting, im not going to post"). We certainly don't post as much as we do on the weekdays but we all now try to check in at least once between sat and sunday.
This is with an extremely active and tight knit group that has been together for several years now. Every other group I have tried to join has failed, even on weekdays.

I think groups and teams shut down because most people only post to PT when they're procrastinating at work.

It's different strokes for different folk. Why don't you start a group, for people who love to log on weekends

Weekend Update......thanks SNL

Yeah...you can call your new group "weekend update" and focus mostly on weekends as your posting time. That way you will have all your bases covered.

That is a well established pattern for lots of folks in the work world...life changes on the weekend. So in a sense the change in scenery with your PT folks can mirror that phenomenon.
