Heartburn-induced exercise

Anyone else have this problem? I just correlated the two (for myself), and a quick look online showed I'm not alone. I'd hate to have to take medication for it. Saw a few ideas about who to avoid it online, but anyone have tried-and-true methods they've used personally? Thanks!

Damn I wish PT had an 'edit' function. The thread title should read:

EXERCISE-INDUCED HEARTBURN"

NOT

"HEARTBURN-INDUCED EXERCISE" !!!

Haha, sorry it's late and I am hungry!! : )

As heartburn is solely related to the type of food you eat and when you eat it, just watch what you eat in correlation to when you exercise.

Probably you have a meal before exercising? That may be the reason, or drinking soda. Try not to eat at least 1 hour before working out. If you have heartburn, water with a teaspoon of baking soda or aloe vera juice help, read here . If you smoke, it can also be a cause of acid reflux.
