Not very inspiring, huh? Doesn't make you just want to go for that extra 30 minute walk today or help you say no to those fresh baked brownies.

If you're part of a group and all you're doing is logging your food intake and exercise you are not doing much to help your groupies. It's the daily notes of encouragement, information, and requests for help that make this place motivating, inspiring and fun.

If all you want to do is keep a record of your activity then go ahead and do that but don't join a group of people who are needing and expecting participation. Start a group of record keepers only or just do it yourself and don't be part of a group at all.

How to bow out of a group gracefully? Just say, "I'm not much of a commenter so I'm going to leave this group and free up the space for someone else who might be able to help you all reach your goals. Goodbye and good luck!"
