killer workouts

i run regularly... at least 4 times a week, between 3 and 6 miles each time. i love what it does for my legs but could use work in other areas. does anyone have any suggestions to get other body parts in the same shape? (i dont have access to a pool so swimming isnt really an option) ideally it would be something that burns calories also. thanks!!

Perhaps other people may have different answers/opinions, but there isn't necessarily a "good" routine for each sex. Just basic moves like bicep curls, shoulder lifts, tricep dips, tricep extensions, pushups, bentover rows (works back), various plank work, basic crunch, bicycle crunch, squats, and various other leg work (I do different moves but don't know the exact same of them)...will get you an all around toned, lean body. You can just look up basic exercises online, read magazines, books, etc. Or take those classes at the gym that combine cardio and strength. Or even get a trainer if you want someone to help you.

I am doing Zumba at work with coworkers. Does it really help? How much of a difference did you see in your core?

I agree about p90x - I love them! They are killer and there's so much variety.

I also like the few Jillian Michaels dvds that I've gotten. As she says, 'they are no joke.'
