Why do my knees still hurt?
Why do my knees still hurt? I have been doing the Couch to 5k program for almost three weeks now. On Tuesday I went running for week 3 and ran on the road. While I was running I felt great, but later I felt like my knees were bruised. I went to my trainer and asked him yesterday and he said my running form was good. When I got home from the gym I took my shoes off and peeled back the sole only to find that the bottom of my shoes had worn away to the rubber. So I got new running shoes.
I felt better so I went to the gym again last night for my hip hop dance class. I wore my new shoes and insoles and I didn't overdo it. I'm going to continue the third week of running today, although I will run on the sidewalk. I have a rest day tomorrow. For those of you who run, what's the best thing for me to do to help my knees?
