I NEED motivation!

okay so here I am again trying to get rid of this nasty mess I call my body. I need some moto! I am tired of hating my body. I am tired of my boyfriend telling me I am beautiful and he loves the way I look. I am 5ft 9in and I weigh 317 lbs. I know how gross I am and I want my old body back but need some advice how to keep going. Every time I get some type of "umph" I see little to no results and get depressed.......any advice will be gladly accepted.....thank you!

I too am sick of this body. I'm 5'7" and weighed 245# in August....but now I'm down to 230#. My husband is 6'4" and 330#. We decided to do a weight loss challenge with another couple (she's 5'9" and 359# and he's similar to me). We start tomorrow (October 1, 2010) and will do 3 months of checking in every 2 weeks and reporting our % of weight loss. We figure if we can do it during the holidays then we can do it any time.
I'm finding that my motivation has to be something other than me. In the past I've just done it cause I want to feel good, I want to look good, I want....... and it's all about me. Now I'm focusing on how it affects other people and that keeps me motivated (I focus more on "we want to get pregnant and have a healthy baby, if we have a kid we are not going to pass down our heavy weights to them, if I loose weight i won't have to spend our money on clothes cause I already of totes full of new clothes I've kept for YEARS in hopes of loosing weight, etc)
Good luck! You can e-mail me at mccull83@yahoo.com

I too need motivation...I quit drinking/smoking 19 yrs. ago and did it one day at a time...maybe that's what we have to do and quit talking nasty to ourselves about ourselves. We can't get back yesterday and tomorrow hasn't come so let's try to do all we can TODAY...eat less and do some exercise JUST FOR TODAY! ok?......LETS MOVE!!!!
