I have been counting calories (keeping my daily calorie intake at 2000 calories) for 2 weeks now and I've lost weight. The trick to losing weight I've learned is burning more calories than you take in. I use the daily log to put down my breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner, putting the amount of calories on each one. Ive looked up the calories per unit of the most common foods I eat, like strawberries and catfish, and put them all on a digital post-it note i have on my computer. Best of luck!
