Best/Worst Snacks for Evening or Late Night???

What is the best and worst types of snacks for late night eating. I always get hungry before bed and I can't sleep on an empty or growing stomach. I heard fruit is the worst as it turns to sugar and carbs are bad too? What are my options?

The reason why you are hungry before bed is because you are probably not eating enough or getting the right nutrients for dinner. Try to take in more protein and fiber.

Its also not the best thing to snack after dinner time right before bed. But if you must - almonds are the bomb. Just a few go a long way ;)

OP here, if I eat at 5 or 6 and then don't go to bed until 11pm, I'm starving by 9pm..... I am trying to eat a lot of fiber and protein, but I am still hungry :(

I have lost weight eating 6 times a day and my last meal is around 9pm. I have a simple protein powder that mixes well with water and 8 plain almonds. Perfect!! You can also have a half cup of cottage cheese or greek yogurt (Fage is my new found favorite!!). I mix both with my high fiber Polaner, no sugar strawberry preserves and eat either as meal #2, 4, or 6.
