Clothes that are too big

I have a growing pile of clothes that are too large and can't decide if I should put them in storage (just in case) or get rid of them. What do you do?

First off, congratulations! What an great "problem" to have to solve. One thing you can do is sort the clothes, pack them into boxes to donate, and then put them in storage for 12 months. If you gain some before you lose more, you won't have to spend money on new clothes, but otherwise, once they've been too big for a whole year you'll know it's a non-issue and you can give them away without any worry. Have fun!

What a wonderful "problem" to have! I know that they say not to keep big clothes as incentive not to regain, but In the past whenever I've given away clothes that are too big I've always ended up having to buy new big clothes. I like the other person's suggestion to store for a year to make sure you won't need them again.
You may also be able to take some clothes in, e.g. inverted pleat at waistband of trousers and skirts, or wear tops and dresses with a belt to cinch them im. But I'm sure it's more fun to buy new clothes in a smaller size!
Well done and keep it off!

I'm just starting to hit that 'problem' - my work suits are now starting to be too baggy. Since it would cost me a fair amount, I'm just having them taken in until I lose another size - then I'll give them away at that point.

My real dilemma is the 'in between' clothes - I still plan to lose another 20 lbs minimum. I need good work clothes in the interim, that aren't too expensive but still look nice. I'll probably resort to separates for awhile.
