Recipe Calorie Counter

Anyone know of a FREE tool on the internet where you can punch in a recipe and servings and get a calorie quote per serving? Thanks in advance!

not free, but....

It's not free, but I love the DietPower Software. It has a great recipe builder within it, which I use all the time. It figures out calories, fat, etc. based on number of servings in the recipe. You can get a free trial at the link below.

Add comment has a recipe analyzer - you put in all your ingredients, as well as number of servings, and it spits out nutrition info. I've used it for about 4 recipes - I only had problems once when the ingredient (98% fat free cream of chicken soup) was not in their database list. Otherwise, it is really awesome. I think I found out about it from posts on peertrainer a couple of months ago (gotta love peertrainer)

Try - you can even add your own ingredients from nutrition labels if they don't have something in their database (which has only happened to me a couple times).

I add up all the things I put in a recipe for example: homemade bread. I total the ingredients and then divide it by 8 (cause I get 8 slices) same with the fat content. If I can't find what I'm looking for I agree with the above poster has really helped me out alot.

Calorie-Count at has a free recipe analyzer. I've never used it so I don't really know how accurate it is though...

Recipe counter

I found a great recipe counter @

You can type in your ingredients, then set the servings and it will pop up with a lable showing all the calories, fat, cholesterol and vitamins. Everything you need.

Even better, it is free.

If you want to save your recipes, you will need to register, but that is also free.

I just found this site and I think it works well! Just type in your recipe ingredients as they usually appear(i.e. 2 C flour, 4 Tbsp sugar)

Wow, these are great!

I'm not the OP, but I've been looking for something like this for a while. I do a lot of home cooked stuff and I don't count calories because it seems like such a hassle. Looks like these programs really make it easy.

You Peers Rock!!!
