Getting back in shape after pregnancy
Anyone else have a difficult pregnancy, and having trouble recovering? I was on total bed rest for over three months, and now, three months after my baby was born, I still have a lot of pain and difficulty exercising. I'm trying to push myself through this hard part, and get back into shape! Anyone else want to join me?

Be kind to yourself. Your body has been through a tremendous event! My pregnancy was a breeze, I ran all through it and had a pretty easy delivery and it has taken me a full year to lose my weight.
I would start with simply evaluating the quality of your diet and clean it up where you can. Next, evaluate portion sizes. And ease into exercise when you can and without overdoing it. I jumped back into running before my core was strong and was sidelined for months b/c of the resulting knee and hip injuries! I felt like I was 100 years old in those first few months post partum - everything creaked and ached. Now, I feel fabulous and better than ever (and I'm no spring chicken!).
