Fell off the wagon!!! Help!!!

So I feel horrible today. I think I ate everything that came within 3 inches of my face! I have been doing so good with dieting and exercising but it all went to crap yesterday. My workout buddy ended up with a migraine and my ankles hurt really bad from the run the day before. So I skipped my workout completely. Then today I ate everything!!!! I have lost 15 lbs so far and I don't want them back! I know this wont effect me too much but it still makes me fell bad.

I just need motivation and some "Its okay no biggy. You'll get back to it" sort of thing.

I just feel like I've cheated myself :-/

This is normal!!! Happens to the best of us. The most important thing right now is to get back on track and not let it be a week or two slide. Your body will get used to the new calories, and you will have to go through the beginning weeks again.

You have done well. You recognize that you didn't exercise then overate. Many people don't realize this. Start fresh tomorrow.

Oh, congrats on the 15 pounds. Continue your success!

i have to chime in here, too- as the PP said, this really does happen to all of us! i have lost about 20-25 pounds and am now only 4 pounds from goal, but today i slipped up and fell off the wagon as well. i completely understand your feeling- now i'm fat again immediately! but you are NOT. again, to echo the PP, as long as you stop it now then you are TOTALLY fine. generally i actually give myself 1 cheat day (although i try not to overdo it too much, but it happens) a week, so just think of today as your cheat day, and make tomorrow your restart. you got this! huge congrats on your 15 pounds. you are not a failure, nor are you doomed to gain those pounds back. slip-ups are part of the journey, and when it's just 1 day then you are golden. we're all here with you!

We're not perfect, and all of us fall off the wagon once in a while. The important thing is to not to use that as an excuse to stay down. As Dr Oz says, "Make a U turn." Get right back on that wagon today.
Remember, progress, not perfection.

I want to thank you all so much! I actually got a little teary eyed just reading it all. With the second person I have to say congrats on your weight loss too!!!! Amazing!!! I feel better today then I did yesterday. I think I am back on track now but now Im craving the bad things again. Which is fine...Im determined to continue with the diet. The mental beat down I gave myself yesterday wore me out. That or it was all the horrible foods (or both).

Thank you all again for the amazing words. It made me feel soooo much better! We can do this!!! :)
