EMAIL THREAD
Mon. Jan 1, 12:00am
It would be nice if there was a way to enter your weight once or twice a week besides on your daily log...just a quick e-mail reminder that keeps track somehow. Also, it is time consuming to be a "good" group member as you log your own food and you should check all three other members and comment regularly....nice it there was a shorter version of this. Also, more e-mail calls about emotional eating, especially the shad helmstetter stuff...just short , encouraging little bites. On another note, it is great they provide alot of free info.

Last night, I accidentally deleted one of my group members. I emailed PT, and she was added back on, but it would be good to have PT ask, "Do you really want to delete this member?" before you actually delete.

Echoing 6:43 poster. It would be nice to have a quick way to check if a member posted or not instead of having to click on each tab. In the team pages, it lists the members' logs in the order of posting. Can we get something like that for the groups?
Wednesday, November 07, 2012, 12:28 PM
I second the suggestion of the 1:01 poster. People who have not posted for 3 months or 6 months or some other period should be dropped from a team. I am in a team with several active posters and dozens who posted once or twice and never returned. They just clog up the list.
Wednesday, November 07, 2012, 2:47 PM
inactive team members
how about not dropping them from team, but not show up on home tab?
I've been using PEERtrainer on and off for years now, and I'm one of the three original members of a very active team. I would hate for myself or any other lifer, or founder of a team, to be dropped while on sabbatical.
perhaps there is a compromise here? maybe the tech support can figure something out?
__________
I would like to see a "tab" in the teams specifically for "challenges." so many challenges over the years and it clogs up the "community" tab in the team. perhaps even a "recipe" tab too? :)

WE are listening! Keep the comments coming.

I would like to be able to makes notes on my log throughout the day without having to update each time. I would prefer to update the accumulated notes at the end of the day. Since I make notes and update anywhere from 1 to 6 times per day I'm adding to the clutter.

to 8:45 AM poster
if you update on the mobile:
http://www.peertrainer.com/Mobile/Content/index.html
it will not update time stamp on the site, so you can update all day long and it will not update the time stamp.
I do the same thing! ;)

One thing when it comes to removing names better- we are working on that, it is more of a challenge than we though.
Also- for the person who wrote about the graph- we got that! you should see that?

water log - water counter - water tracker
PEERtrainer,
Do you think your tech department can create a field for tracking water intake? Perhaps something on the sexy side?
Thanks for all you do!

I've been on the site for years and have always turned to it for support. Thanks for creating it! However as I mentioned I"ve been on the site for years and none of pictures, stories, etc ever change and the site feels really static. I'm not sure if the Spotlight is even that active. Maybe it's the way the site features are promoted/positioned? I like the option for receiving emails etc, but I stopped subscribing as the tone of the emails - while really motivational for some - didn't really work for me as they feel like infomercials. I prefer the ones from Shape, Self, etc and the like. They seem more palatable for some reason.

Ditto Dec.25 9:05
I too have been on the site for years and have given and gained a nice support system that is available on my schedule but the PICTURES, stories have yet to be updated and refreshed.
Updating the pictures and stories if possible would improve PT and give it a fresher look and feel.

We've provided a way for you to delete comments, right next to the comment. We focus on support. If it would motivate and support you to see new successes, send them in with pics. We get hundreds of testimonials every month. Just not with pictures.
Tuesday, July 30, 2013, 1:50 PM
is that just for groups.. don't see it as a option in the teams.. or is there some tech glitches?
lynneta6
Tuesday, July 30, 2013, 2:17 PM
maybe PT could peruse the logs and pick someone that they see has made big changes and put their pic up. saying a caption even look what they have accomplished with hard work and determination. just a thought.. the site needs a fresher look.. some updated pics.. updated stories.. there are alot of glitches some have had lately.. posting.. . errors..
another thing is the team just racking up members that NEVER post.. isn't there a way to make two kinds of members.. commenting one.and watching ones?
or the ones that log in and make one comment and are gone..
a water log would be cool.. a water tracker.. you could fill the cup after each glass is done..
i love PT.. but i think with all the programs you guys are creating.. the site is getting really neglected.. I know you are losing people to other sites because of this.. i had a friend join and she said she liked sparks better.. layout was more friendly.. not confusing to find people and post..
i just would hate to see PT take a back seat to alot of the other sites.
just some thoughts I have had and others have shared as well..

I don't think PT gets it.
Tuesday, July 30, 2013, 3:40 PM
"If it would motivate and support you to see new successes, send them in with pics."
So, if success stories are motivating to me, I should send in my OWN pic and story... to motivate me? I don't even understand that response. Is it possible the people asking aren't a success story yet?
This is beyond weird. Ultimately, if Pt really wanted to update their website they would take the initiative to do it and it wouldn't remain unchanged for years on end. And they wouldn't just put it back on those requesting a change. They would follow up with their hundreds of testimonials and ask for pics to add to their website. For whatever reason, those success stories from 2006 are apparently here to stay!

Lynetta, thank you for your comments. It's so nice to see someone attach their name to their suggestions and be really constructive. As usual, this is why you continue to be successful with your own journey.

just being honest jackie. i think the site could really do with refreshing, but i love the support i get here which is what keeps me coming here.. smiles. if I have something to say I don't mind anyone know I am saying it so I usually sign my name.. unless I am asking something personal about a situation I am having than I may remain anonymous, but other than that I speak my mind.
peel.. i believe its sparks.com.. haven't been there forever.

I should let this go, as I am beyond thrilled, per the other thread, that PT is going to update, but you have created and set up the forum for anonymous posting! That seemed to be a little dig toward those who are simply utilizing it! People have been politely asking for updates for years. .
Again, I am thrilled. I can't wait to see the changes. And I appreciate my anonymity!

We could have an official PT tournament, modeled after "The Biggest Loser" with a cash payout for the winner...

Miss my daily email of logs/comments from my group
I don't know about any one else but I really miss not getting my morning email of logs and comments from my group. It became a real part of my success and closeness with my group of six years. I was told it was taken away because it ended up in "some" peoples spam or junk mail and that was a problem for the company. In six years it never once ended up in my junk mail. A simple check mark in the preference section was all it took. I REALLY hope they allow us as members to have the choice to receive them or not.

Active Teams
The search feature for finding active teams doesn't really work. I even went to a letter and typed in the name of my city and it was on the last page, despite me knowing it existed. That being said, it's not active at all and I am looking for active teams.
Also, all the teams that I would be interested in joining haven't been active since 2012. I had to go digging for them because I couldn't search properly. Maybe a way to show that, "Hey, this group hasn't been active in six months" would be nice. Anybody else new here and having a hard time finding an active group?

Yes you have to check the date for when a group or team last logged. "Progress not Perfection" is a very active team.

Number of Cheats
I"m really trying to follow this method but find it frustrating that on most of your recipes it doesn't say the number of cheats per serving. Unless I'm missing it or a formal some where. Thanks.
Tuesday, June 03, 2014, 8:21 AM
It's on every single recipe. In the book? Or in the Magic Fridge Cheatified book?
