Has anyone tried creatine for strength gains?
If so, what was your impression?
How long did you supplement w/ it?

Still looking for input if anyone has tried creatine. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to use if if you are trying to lose wt. I read the extra creatine in the muscle also holds some extra water. I'm at maintenance so thats not a big thing. I just want to gain some strength and muscle, but safely. I haven't read anything bad about it except for people who get stuck in the more is better mentality. I think its been used for about 20yrs and I haven't read about any serious side affects except in cases where its not used in appropriate quantities. But that could be said about protein powder and vitamins.

My husband used to take that many years ago. It did help him bulk up, but from what I understand that's mostly because it causes your muscles to hold water, therefore making them look bigger. I don't think it helped with actual strength.
