Konveksi Tas Seminar

Amazing blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused .. Any ideas? Thanks!

hang in there, trust in the process, it will happen for you

I also did the JJ Virgin (Cleanse) Elimination diet. I lost inches off my stomach, it turns out that gluten gave me inflammation. But I had the hardest time losing weight. And then I did the Hormone Reset Program here on PEERtrainer (with Dr. Sara Gottfried) and as it turns out, I was hypothyroid. I was also estrogen dominate, I suffered from insane PMS, and I am finally beginning to realize, stress was exasperating all my other hormones. I was busting butt to lose weight, and barely making any progress. It was very demoralizing, after having success at weight loss several years prior. So... hang in there and don't give up!! Exhaust all other avenues. Stay the course.

what is your current routine? start will the basics. realize that progress is slow and steady. are you losing weight (any amount, no matter how slight) every week?

are you getting enough sleep?
do you need coffee to function?
what are you doing for exercise? how often? what intensity levels?
can you walk? can you walk 10 minutes a day to start? more?
are you snacking? do you snack after dinner at night?
how long have you been following JJ Virgin diet?
how long have you been following "Fight MS With Food?"

Hypothyroid and diets.

You said you did the JJ Virgin cleanse diet and I also did it for 6 weeks without iimprovement. Then the Sara Gottfried Reset program too and I also am hypothyroid (hyshimotos) and just two weeks ago started medicine.

What made the difference to you in being able to loose the weight? Was it eliminating stress and if so how did you do that? Or did you start thyroid medicine and that helped?

I am hoping the meds help control mine but my doctor was not optomistic and handed me a generic count calories plan to stick with. Its very discouraging. But I am trying to do that to see if I might be taking in more calories than he suggested. He said 10 calories per pound of my weight to maintian and anything less should show in loss - 3500 being one pound. While it seems okay on the surface, I do not believe a calorie is a calorie.

It's true! A calorie is a calorie, And the 10 calories per pound is very straightforward and works. E.g. if you want to weigh 130 pounds, limit your diet to 1,300 calories. Eat more and you will gain weight. Eat less than that and you will loose weight.

Instead of going off on strange eating adventures and potentially dangerous "cleansing" eliminations, find a nutritionist to talk to.

I did have improvement on JJ Virgin. I lost 5 pounds. But mostly, I lost 7 inches off my waist!! It seems I should have lost tons more weight with that many inches off my waist, right? (laughs)

After doing the Cleanse, it was still a battle for me to lose weight. Most recently I felt like I was fighting an uphill battle. I would eat insanely clean, and work out, but I would only lose a quarter of a pound a week. And any little minor slip would shoot my weight up. I felt very defeated.

After doing the Hormone Reset Program, I had testing done. Lo and behold, I was hypothyroid! I began Armour about two weeks ago, and now I am losing about a pound a week (where as before doing same routine only yielded a quarter pound, if that, and sometimes even a gain!) Of course, I still have to eat clean and exercise, etc. etc. but it has made a huge difference in my overall wellbeing. Also, my feet aren't cold anymore!! I've read it can take up to 6 weeks for thyroid medications to build up and kick in, depending on who you read.

About calorie counting, I think it can set some of us up for problems later down the road. I originally joined this website in 2007 and did calorie counting exclusively. Although I had success, it was not permanent. Calorie counting is hard to maintain over the long haul.

Have you done the PEERtrainer Success Index quiz yet? they now send you the PEERtrainer Cheat System Recipe Guide afterward, and in it on the first page, they list 4 things to keep in mind, one of them:

2.) When in doubt, 75% is vegetables, 25% is traditional protein (ex. black beans, salmon)

This is HUGE. I don't believe in calorie counting either.

Stress... that is my final frontier, the final wall to bust through for me. Although I've reduced it now, it will only be a matter of time before I have another huge lifestyle shift, or change of culture/location. This causes me much stress.

I'm experimenting with breathing techniques for stress, I was just listening to week 6 in PEERtrainer "On Track" where Joshua does a breathing technique to help with stress. Dr. Sara Gottfried does a great one too, it's on YouTube. I also like EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) also known as "tapping."

Don't let your doctor discourage you or get you down. It's impossible for him to have all the answers! ;)

Pay attention to what works for you. What foods energize you? What foods make you feel sluggish? start paying attention and eat for energy. Check out the PEERtrainer Cheat System if you haven't already, and also check out the Cheat System Recipe Guide. Sign up for the PEERtrainer Tip Of The Day, they always have such great information. And then apply it.

You could definitely benefit from the PEERtrainer "Tip Of The Day" email.

Calories count, but where they come from count more.

You might find Dr. John McDougall and his theories interesting. One of his mentors is someone who studied MS for many years. Check out his web site here:

Good luck!
