Anyone having problems with emotional overeating? I never eat because I am hungry.

do you have a good team you on to support you.. if not i recommend progress not perfection 2013..
the best thing that helped me with emotional eating is a book called beck diet solution.. its not a diet its cognitive thing behavior towards food.. there is a book and a workbook.. they really had a big impact on my eating
something I have learned is emotions come.. we have to deal with them.. stuffing them down with food is not dealing with them.. its hiding from them... so feel your emotions.. feel the moment, but don't feed them.. go for a walk.. call a friend.. do something.. that craving of emotional eating only lasts a few minutes.. the more you resist.. the stronger you are strengthening your resistance muscle.. and the more you strengthen it your giving in muscle loses.
another thing you can do is write down your goals on a index card.. your why.. why . my way is I want to live healthy.. I want to set a example. I am enrolled to become a health coach and to date I have released 196 pounds.. I have alot more whys and when I am tempted I remember my why..
you can also write down solutions.. such as i dont have to have that food now.. if i still want it 20 minutes from now i can have it, but i speak from experience.. after 20 minutes that food wont even be on your mind..
you just have to learn how to rethink your relatonship with food..
