Kat forgot some words. Taylor was "karaoke" according to Simon in the first song, great in the second. Elliott did a good job but I wonder if he has the fan support. Chris was okay. The judges seem to like him.

I have a bad feeling about Katherine - she didn't do very well. I wanted to see her and Chris as the last two, but I have a feeling she may go home. Maybe her or Taylor....

Kat was really bad last night. i would like to see her go. she has a great voice but has been really inconsistent. chris was "just alright" I thought. I really thought Elliot would be leaving tonight but he was FANTASTIC last night. I hope he can hold on one more week!!!!

I really was hoping Kat would go to the finish. After last night, I am not sure she will make it. I look for Taylor to go. Elliott was GREAT last night so he probably will go on.

I think it will be Chris and Taylor in the final. Not sure if Kat or Elliott will go home. I know Elliott was very good, but I don't see him as having a BIG fan base. Kat had a tough night, so I 'm thinking it will be her.

yes, what a shocker! I was sure he would win. He is the most talented and polished. They all have had great moments, but Chris was great week after week. I think he'll be successful anyway. Now Kat, on the other hand, should have gone! I love Taylor and now think that Elliot has become fabulous ..

Ryan Seacrest was absolutely merciless in the way he told them who was leaving. I thought it was very mean-spirited to tell him "People say you might be the next American Idol. But you're leaving today."

I truly thought Kat was gone, but I guess the guys with the raging hormones are continuing to put her through!

Chris is okay, but too much of the same thing week after week....

Elliot has become the Cinderella in terms of being dressed for the ball and now having some of his best performances. (If you look at a photo from Feb. vs. now, the ugly duckling has become the swan!) I'm glad they made him grow his hair out and his goatee really softens his features.

I have been a Taylor fan from Day 1--I hope that Taylor and Elliot are in the final 2!

I'm very annoyed that Chris is off. He was my favorite. Maybe it will be a blessing not to have to be stuck with American Idol for too long-- he can go off on his own. I think America got it way wrong. I think Taylor should win now.

Although I am not particularly sad that Chris got off (sorry to his fans, though) I did think Ryan's delivery was not very kind. It was a total shock. I would like to see Kat voted off next week. I think she's good, but not good enough week to week. By the way, I loved the Cinderalla analogy for Elliot - how true! I love his voice, too.

This is just my humble speculation....

I was wondering if maybe Chris' talk about all of his fan clubs Tues. night turned some people off of him. IIt seemed pretty boastful and I know that when he told everyone about the underwear he wears I was not impressed. He is a married man and I just thought it was inappropriate, and maybe other people did too. WHat do you think? Am i way off base?

I think he didn't get the votes because everyone thought he was safe. Even Simon had said (on some news talk show) that the final two would be Chris and Taylor. If people thought he was safe, and didn't vote, that could explain it.

Chris was boring and predictable, as usual. Same vocals, same gestures, same mic dragging and they always put some light show for him - cmon. and 2nd song was flat. Yes underwear thing was distasteful - it's Fox after all and a family show.

That's funny that you say that about the underwear comment, because right when he said it I thought it went over poorly and sounded a little bit boastful and self-involved. I really liked his voice the best and he is easy on the eyes, but I think people kinda got sick of him. It reminded me of Constantine last year. He seemed like a shoo in, but we all know what happened there.

I missed the show on Tuesday, sounds like he was getting a little high on himself-- if that's the case, he may have definitely turned people off.

Funny, though, I keep hearing that Kat is stuck up, but maybe I must have missed the episodes that made her look that way. I don't think she acts particularly stuck up... and if you look at her body language on Wednesday, she was fully prepared to be booted...

Kat has the funniest body language. At one moment she is showing off her boobs, and the next minute she is stand with her legs crossed so it looks like she has to pee. It's really weird. She has no real poise when she is not singing.
