It's hard..one tip I heard was to set a set "worry time" and let yourself worry like crazy for those 15 min or so but only then- easier said than done. Probably the best thing is to distract yourself - a movie you can get into, run errands, call someone, etc. Also, remember it'll pass.

Distraction works. Calling someone is also great advice.

exercise, exercise, exercise... then eat whatever you can find that's filling, takes forever to eat, and isn't horribly fattening.

I agree with the above posts. Keeping yourself distracted, by...

Working out. Even just 20 minutes outdoors walking in the sunshine. Bike, Run, Swim, anything. A walk in the park or around the block. Go outside, breath the fresh air, and get some sunshine.

Hobbies. Immerse yourself in hobbies. Maybe even start a Pinterest board specifically for your hobby to inspire and keep track of new projects you'd like to explore?

Cooking, meal planning, researching new weekly menu planning and healthy recipes to try. Crockpot recipes, prepping and freezing dinners ahead of time, etc. If you only bring healthy food into your house, you will eat it! And you will like it! ;)

Spend some time to just pray or meditate.Maybe praying everyday or lighting a candle and meditating will help you to emotionally release, let it go, and get on with your day. Inspiration writings can be uplifting. I like Pema Chodron.

Being close with someone helps, but self-pleasure is good too. Orgasmic meditation? Or maybe just coffee talk with a best friend for the emotional release.
