Hello - I am new to Peertrainer and started a group which quickly filled up. The problem is, I am the only one logging/posting consistently. I might as well do this alone. Also, I am beginning to feel like Peertrainer is nothing but a nonstop ad for the Cheat System book. I am receiving email after email full of links to how to buy the book. I joined Peertrainer looking to buddy up with like minded folks who know what to do but would like to help each other along; now I feel like I'm stuck in an infomercial! Is it just me?

From what I've seen, most groups end up that way. People just don't have the time to be constantly active, so when you have so few people, you get very little activity. That quickly leads to stagnation and people just stop posting on the group.

There is really only 1 highly active team (on a consistent basis) on PT that I know of and that is Progress Not Perfection. It's not so large that you will get lost in the shuffle. There are actually on about 7 regular posters on it at anyone time so it's barely bigger than a group. Why not join it? We'd love to have you.

I'm currently very active in the Core Rule Plan which is on our community tab. I'm seeing great changes in myself due to the process which is pretty much the culmination of every thing I have learned over the past 2 years of being on this site.

Say hello if you join us,

PS, don't look for my log on the regular log pages. I hate the way it is setup. I log on the Progress Not Perfection community tab on my personal logging thread. You can read my progress using the Core Rule Plan there.

Peelout, I'm in 10 active teams alone. While I know you guys think you're the only active team, you're not.

I have found PeerTrainer to be very helpful removing members that have been non-active for more than 1 month... you just have to ask !!!

Sorry if I sounded condescending. I guess by active, I meant teams where there are comments from multiple people on a daily basis. I often check out other teams because I would like more activity, only to find they get maybe 1 comment a day at best, and sometimes go for several days w/ no activity. I'm also on team Biggest Losers To Be (or whatever the name is these days) and its only had a couple different people comment in the past week. If there are some teams that I've missed where multiple people log on a daily basis (which is what I meant by "highly active", please let me know. Again, sorry if what I said sounded offensive.

Hi - I feel your pain. Have you found a new group that has members who are participating now? If not let me know, post back here.

I haven't looked into groups. Groups seem to draw from an even smaller number of people so the activity is even less. Right now I'm listed on 6 teams. The only one that fits my definition of active is Progress Not Perfection. All the others are lucky to get 1 comment a day and most don't achieve that. I know there are a lot of people who log but don't seem to ever comment on any team I can find. I'm not sure of the benefit of logging on line vs on a piece of paper or a spreadsheet but if it works for them, thats great.

Duh, after rereading this, I just realized PP was asking OP. Sorry about that. I hope OP responds to PP.

(I really hate using the abbreviation PeePee.)
