I know it sucks to hate your job - is there one baby step you could take in the next thirty days? (a class, a workshop, send out a resume, take a class that has nothing at all to do with career or health - just for pure fun, etc.)??

I find when I'm in a bad relationship or job I'm heavier in general. What do you do? I like the above poster's question about a baby step you could take in the next thirty days.

Are you exercising? I really don't like my job much anymore (all jobs start to suck after 17yrs, even ones that have many positive attributes). What I find gets me through the day is what I do outside of work. For me, exercise is a huge part of my staying motivated. During the times in the past when I stopped exercising, my life seemed much less happy. Exercise does things to boost your inner satisfaction that no amount of eating vegy's can do. Eating vegy's makes you lighter, but being lighter does not correspond to being happier. Being fit is what motivates us and it takes exercise to get fit. That's my take on it.

I have to say that for me I totally agree with the exercise part. Exercise IS my happy pill. Without regular exercise I become an emotional mess!

nice comments - I know they say exercise is a natural anti-depressant - I do workout but think I should up it a bit. It is super motivating to see progress .
