If calories were not an obstacle - WARNING!!! - do not read if not strong-willed

I know it's kind of contraproductive on this board. But I'd really like to get it out of my system - if I can't have it in real life, maybe at least I'd fantasize about it... Thought it might help others to get it out of their minds as well.

One food I can never get enough of is really good croissants. Even better - buttered croissants. mmm. wish they had less calories and were more substantial.

You guys are just torturing yourselves! I say if you are really craving something, have a small portion of it, or you end up taking your precious time to write and dream about it. But make sure it's real chocolate, real butter, really good stuff so you feel satisfied. Good luck!

I knew someone would come out w/ moderation thing :(. I'm the OP - the problem w/ croissants is it just dough fluffed with butter or some other fat - no nutritional value. And I can never just have a bit and be satisfied - because there is so much air in it (of course that air is butter), so croissants will have to remain in my fantasies for now...

those cookies from bakeries that have jelly in the middle and sprinkles on the outside. mmmmm. carbs carbs carbs. ya know what though? I always like to think..." ok if I had to give up fruit or chocolate cake for life which would I choose? or french fries or veggies?" the thing is I would never give up those healthy treats, cause theyre delicious! not that we actually have to chose haha I could definitely eat a chocolate cake AND a bowl of berries...but it helps me realize that alot of foods I love and enjoy are healthy ones!

It's interesting that cheese seems to be the prevailing taste that's missed the most. The low-fat/no-fat cheeses just don't make it.
How about a well-crafted guacamole dip with cream cheese, and an assortment of cripsy carbs to scoop it up? Tortilla chips, fritos, toasted pita triangles, triscuits...
